Amber Peak Education Group was founded in 2016 in Shanghai by a small group of former international school teachers and heads of school who saw the same problem from both sides of the hiring table: generic job boards were flooding schools with unqualified applicants, while strong teachers were struggling to get honest, specific feedback about schools and roles.
We work with a deliberately limited number of accredited international schools across mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau at any given time, so that every placement gets individual attention from our recruitment team — not an algorithm. Every candidate we put forward has been interviewed personally and had their references independently verified through our reference verification system.
Our team is based in Shanghai with regional partners in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, and we work closely with school leadership throughout the hiring season, from initial shortlist to onboarding.
